Flexible heating lines
The ideal solution that eltrace offers to the transportation of liquids and
gases.
Long life, high resistance to temperature uniform distribution of heat and the
use of high quality materials guarantee high effectiveness and optimum use.
Tailor-mode construction:
Models are according to standard panel units and technical data sheets or to
special specifications.
Nominal heating line diameter: 4 - 25mm, larger diameters on request.
Hydraulic connectors: bichromate steel, stainless steel, brass.
Connector model: see table of accessories.
Operating temperature range: from 5 to 350°C
Pressure load limit: o D (without pressure)

Flexible line length: variable, from 30 m for two heating circuits.
Temperature sensor: PT 100 2,3 or 4 wires, thermocouples.
External protection casing: stainless steel braid, nylon, galvanized steel,
ribbed metal flexible with PVC casing
Connecting cable: 1 m standard, other lengths on order
Connection cables: heating circuit, control circuit and temperature sensor
combined or separate.
Connection plug: round multi-pole 2200 VA connector, as an or
any other design required by customer.

Construction:
" PTFE internal flexible line for the transport of liquids and gases.
" Armature consisting of one or two stainless steel braids guaranteeing
pressure resistance.
" Hydraulic connectors mounted at ends of flexible line manufactured of
very high quality material.
" Heat element wound around PTFE tube to ensure heating and temperature
maintenance. The computer calculates the length and resistance.
" Interconnecting cables between the two ends of the flexible line for
information (temperature) and power transfer.
" Thermal insulation adapted to operating temperatures and conditions.
" External braid for mechanical protection.
Special assembly to prevent subsequent removal.
" Flexible line ends provided with silicon rubber protection fittings to
ensure technically clean termination.
" Temperature sensor ( PT100, thermocouple,…) connected to electronic
regulator maintaining transported product temperature, even for outside
temperature variations.

Suitable for hazardous areas
Heating
flexible lines and conduits are necessary in areas where there is an explosion
hazard, coming under individual site inspection, or at eltrace
production locations. The
composition of the heated flexible line, resisting explosion, differs from the
standard heating flexible line through the use of components approved by the
European laboratories (L.C.I.E. P.T.B. etc.), such as heated cables,
self-regulated heating tape, junction boxes, regulators, etc.
eltrace can equip and supply all standard models, special flexible lines,
stainless steel or copper tubes with a heating and control system approved for
use in hazardous zones.
Heating,
in general, is by a heating cable conforming to European standards, heating tape
with PTFE covered elements or self-regulating heated tape.
The corresponding control certificates are included with the equipment.
Because
this equipment is manufactured to order only, our "project managers"
are available to our customers for any information or special studies.

expanded polyurethane
Double flexible heating line for two-part flexible projection with two PTFE tubes,
one resisting pressure and one for compressed air.
